MOTIVATION

IMPRESSOLIBRE is a website for development of low cost electronic circuits, with GPL-like licenses, to allow free uses, modifications and improvements of the circuits. This site is similar and inspired by freeio.org , but with de following characteristics:

• Circuits for education & technology development.
• Very low cost designs.
  • Simple and clear designs.
  • Small and medium sized PCBs.
  • Single sided PCBs.
• Latinoamerican oriented
  • Original pages in spanish. (translations to english are welcome)
  • Use of standard and well established electronic components.
• We will try to establish close comunication with universities, educational institutions and research centers.

GOALS AND PURPOSES

This site dedicated to help the development of the electronic sector in general, especially in places with low budget for prototyping. We want to bring new designs an aplications, sharing experiences and helping with the education of students of electronics.

The content of this site is oriented to:

• Students of electronics who want to make small projects.
• Educational institutions on electronics, software, robotics and mechatronics who wants to teach his students thru hardware experiences.
• Research & development labs who want to use the tools an the electronics blocks of this site.
• Hobbyists who enjoy electronics.

DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

This site don't have comercial interests. We do not accept donations or contributions of any kind to particular people. Donations and contributions must be done through some of our related institutions.
Users of IMPRESSOLIBRE's designs can colaborate with the site of several ways:

• Testing new designs and reporting the results.
• Reporting errors, making corrections and improvements.
• Doing new versions and changing designs, making them accesible to community.
• Finding new aplications for IMPRESSOLIBRE's circuits.
• Suggesting new developments and boards.
• Giving useful material for the web site.
• Suscribing to the email-list and helping others to build their prototypes.

• MINIPROG84: Serial Programmer in LVP mode for PIC 16F87X microcontrollers for prog84 software
• MINIPROG84_Pony: Serial Programmer in LVP mode for PIC 16F87X microcontrollers for prog84 and Ponyprog software
